Cold2Horse does not use ice for therapeutic cooling. Instead it uses an advanced thermal technology patented by BiofreshTech, which uses 100% natural coolants with a high energy density.
This technology holds the temperature steady for longer, with no spikes and no sudden drops, to support equine muscle recovery.
- Put the equipment in the freezer at −18 °C for at least 6 to 8 hours, so that it cools right through.
- Once out of the freezer, let it rest for 15 minutes at room temperature before fitting it on the horse. This step ensures optimum thermal transfer and avoids too harsh a cold shock.
- Fit it over the area you want to treat, making sure there is good contact with the surface.

Yes, as long as the instructions for use are followed. Thanks to its above-zero thermal control — the system never drops below 0 °C — and materials suitable for contact, it is safe for regular use.
Yes. Wash them by hand or on a gentle machine cycle up to 30 °C, without a hard spin.
