Cold designed
for the stifle.
The anatomy of the stifle makes traditional cold systems particularly awkward to apply.
CryoStifle was developed specifically for this joint, with a wide covering surface and an anatomical fastening system that keeps contact throughout the session.
More than an hour of controlled, constant cold on one of the most awkward areas of the horse.

Cold2Horse redefines equine cryotherapy with the new CryoStifle, an advanced technological solution designed specifically for the care and recovery of the horse's stifle joint, a key structure under heavy demand in training and competition.
Unlike traditional methods using ice, the CryoStifle uses high energy density coolants that give even, long-lasting cooling, guaranteeing more than 60 minutes of constant treatment between 2 °C and 8 °C.
Thanks to our patented thermal technology, these protectors deliver precise, controlled cold transfer that helps reduce inflammation, improve circulation and aid joint and muscle recovery, while also helping to prevent discomfort and strain caused by hard exercise or competition.
Shaped to follow the anatomy of the horse's stifle, the CryoStifle is made from hard-wearing, ergonomic materials that are safe on the horse's skin. It is reusable, sustainable and easy to look after, which makes it an essential tool for the welfare, recovery and performance of the sport horse.
- 01Replaces ice with advanced, precise technology.
- 02Reduces inflammation and aids joint and muscle recovery.
- 03Eases discomfort and strain after hard exercise.
- 04Holds a constant, safe cold with no risk of ice burn.
- 05Cut for the stifle, where an ice pack simply will not stay put.
-
01
Freeze
Put the equipment in the freezer at −18 °C for at least 6 to 8 hours, laid flat so the coolant spreads evenly.
-
02
Let it settle
Once out of the freezer, let it rest for 15 minutes at room temperature. This step ensures optimum thermal transfer and avoids too harsh a cold shock.
-
03
Fit
Place the protector over the stifle, on a clean, dry limb, and close the wide band and the two straps. Firm against the thigh, without restricting movement.
-
04
Treat
The thermal effect holds steady for more than an hour. Nothing to top up and no clock to watch.
Cold use only: never heat the CryoStifle in an oven or a microwave.

The CryoStifle is made for the daily work of a competition horse, on the joint that pushes with every stride:
- Joint recovery after training or competition.
- Targeted treatment after hard work or a stamina session.
- Preventing discomfort and strain in high-performance horses.
It does not replace complex veterinary procedures, but it is an effective complementary tool for everyday use. For any diagnosed injury, always follow your vet's judgement.
