Built around
the hock.
A complex joint calls for a design of its own. CryoHock follows the anatomy of the hock, leaving the point free and giving even thermal coverage all around the joint.
More than an hour of controlled, constant cold.

Cold2Horse redefines equine cryotherapy with the new CryoHock, an advanced technological solution designed specifically for the care and recovery of the horse's hock, one of the hardest-worked joints in equestrian sport.
Unlike traditional methods using ice, the CryoHock uses high energy density coolants that give even, long-lasting cooling, guaranteeing more than 60 minutes of constant treatment between 2 °C and 8 °C.
Thanks to our patented thermal technology, these protectors deliver precise, controlled cold transfer that helps reduce inflammation, improve circulation and speed up joint and muscle recovery, while also helping to prevent injuries caused by hard training or competition.
Shaped to follow the anatomy of the hock, the CryoHock is made from hard-wearing, ergonomic materials that are safe on the horse's skin. It is reusable, sustainable and easy to look after, which makes it an essential tool for the welfare and performance of the sport horse.

01
Freeze
Put the equipment in the freezer at −18 °C for at least 6 to 8 hours, laid flat so the coolant spreads evenly.
-
02
Let it settle
Once out of the freezer, let it rest for 15 minutes at room temperature. This step ensures optimum thermal transfer and avoids too harsh a cold shock.
-
03
Fit
Fit the protector over the hock, leaving the point in the padded opening. The three straps close from the top down, firm but without compressing the joint.
-
04
Treat
The thermal effect holds steady for more than an hour. Nothing to top up and no clock to watch.
Cold use only: never heat the CryoHock in an oven or a microwave.

The CryoHock is made for the daily work of a competition horse, on a joint that takes load with every stride:
- Joint recovery after training or competition.
- Targeted treatment after hard work or a day of jumping.
- Preventing strain in high-performance horses.
It does not replace complex veterinary procedures, but it is an effective complementary tool for everyday use. For any diagnosed injury, always follow your vet's judgement.
