Cold2Horse redefines equine cryotherapy with the new CryoBoots, an advanced technological solution for the care and performance of the horse.

Unlike traditional ice boots, the CryoBoots use high energy density coolants that give even, long-lasting cooling, guaranteeing more than 60 minutes of constant treatment between 2 °C and 8 °C.

Thanks to our patented technology, these boots deliver precise thermal transfer that reduces inflammation, improves circulation and speeds up muscle and tendon recovery, helping to prevent injuries after competition or hard training.

Made from hard-wearing, ergonomic materials that are safe on the horse's skin, the CryoBoots are reusable, sustainable and easy to look after.

  1. 01

    Freeze

Put the equipment in the freezer at −18 °C for at least 6 to 8 hours, laid flat so the coolant spreads evenly.

  2. 02

    Let it settle

Once out of the freezer, let it rest for 15 minutes at room temperature. This step ensures optimum thermal transfer and avoids too harsh a cold shock.

  3. 03

    Fit

Fit the boots over the cannon, making sure there is good contact all the way round. The straps close from the bottom up, without over-tightening.

  4. 04

    Treat

The thermal effect holds steady for more than an hour. Nothing to top up and no clock to watch.

Cold use only: never heat the CryoBoots in an oven or a microwave.

The CryoBoots are made for the daily work of a competition horse:

  • Muscle recovery after training or competition.
  • Targeted treatment after hard work.
  • Preventing strain in high-performance horses.

They do not replace complex veterinary procedures, but they are an effective complementary tool for everyday use. For any diagnosed injury, always follow your vet's judgement.
